Cricket and Malaysia — A Closer Connection Than You'd Think
Many Malaysians may think of cricket as a foreign sport with little connection to our culture. The reality is that cricket has long had a place in Malaysia — we have a national team, a domestic league, and a growing fan community, particularly within the Malaysian Indian community. And with the IPL's rise as one of the most popular sports leagues in the world, interest in cricket among Malaysians of all backgrounds has become increasingly hard to ignore.
Barcelona88 recognised this shift earlier than most platforms. That's why we invested in building a truly comprehensive cricket section — not just offering one or two betting markets, but creating a full ecosystem that covers matches from around the world, a wide range of betting markets, real-time statistics, and customer support that actually understands cricket.
Every major cricket match at barcelona88 is covered from start to finish. You can place bets on match outcomes before the game begins, then continue adjusting your bets as play unfolds through our live betting feature. Odds are updated every few seconds to reflect the current state of play — every wicket, every six, every over shifts the odds dramatically.
